The President of the European Council Donald
Tusk is expected to unveil a draft deal today on David Cameron’s EU reform
demands. Mr Cameron has made a number of demands including an “emergency brake” on migration that would give countries the ability
to suspend benefits to migrants for up to four years. He’s also calling for a
“red card” veto system enabling national parliaments to club together to block
EU legislation. The Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly says it is in Britain’s interests
to remain within the EU.
