The Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan is today
lodging an official question to the EU Commission over media ownership in
Ireland. Ms Boylan says she wants the EU’s Competition Commissioner to see if
there are any competition issues in relation to the number of media outlets
owned in Ireland by the billionaire Denis O’Brien.
