Common sense and maturity needed for Greek breakthrough – McGuinness

The crisis in Greece and last weekend’s
referendum have been discussed this morning in the European Parliament. The
President of the European Commission told MEPs this morning that Greeks voted
on a text last weekend that is no longer on the table. Jean-Claude Juncker said
he didn’t want Greece to exit the Eurozone and that a solution needs to be
found to end the Greek crisis. The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says these
are very uncertain times for Europe and that common sense is needed to strike a
deal.
