The Independent MEP Marian Harkin is
calling on the European Commission to continue with its ban on pesticides that
are believed to harm bees. In 2012, new scientific
findings indicated that some insecticides belonging to group of neonicotinoids were
harmful to bees. The European Parliament this week
voted for the maintenance of the ban on the damaging insecticides. Here’s
