Sinn Fein is warning that Phil Hogan should expect to be heavily scrutinised in his upcoming hearing in front of the European Parliament’s Agricultural Committee. Sinn Fein’s Dublin MEP Lynn Boylan, says he is an unsuitable candidate for the EU Agricultural Commissioner job. And she says several Irish MEPs are opposing his nomination. The EU Parliament hearings of prospective Commissioners starts on September 29 and Mr Hogan will go up before the Parliament Committee on October 2nd.
