Crowley/Flanagan absence from Parliament reflects ‘badly’ – Ni Riada

The poor attendance of two Irish MEPs to the European Parliament is negatively impacting the work being done by other Irish MEPs. So says the Sinn Fein MEP Liadh Ni Riada who was speaking from the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Ms ni Riada was commenting on a recent report by Vote Watch Europe which found the voting record Irish MEPs in the European Parliament was poor. The main reason was the lack of regular attendance in the Parliament by both Brian Crowley and Luke Ming Flanagan. Both MEPs have stated health and other personal reasons for their inability to attend. But Ms Ni Riada says the MEPs need to return to the Parliament soon.
