Greece ‘dangerous situation’ – Childers

Wednesday’s Eurozone meetings will be
critical for Greece and the rest of the EU. That’s according to the Independent
MEP Nessa Childers who was speaking at the European Parliament where the Greek
situation is high up on MEPs’ agendas. The Greek
Finance Minister
Yanis Varoufakis is expected to outline Athens’ demands for a new debt deal that could help to ease the austerity measures endured by the Greeks since
2010.

Ireland has a ‘moral right’ to banking debt deal – Childers European Parliament

Ireland is unlikely to get a deal on its
banking debts even if one is stuck with Greece following tomorrow’s critical
meeting of Eurozone finance ministers. That’s according to the Independent MEP
Nessa Childers who was speaking at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The
Dublin constituency MEP says there will be pressure from other debt-ridden
countries if a deal is struck with Greece.
