Undeclared work costing millions and causing suffering – Boylan

The European Parliament is calling for
the establishment of a European platform to address the problem of undeclared work. 
Undeclared work is legal work that has not been properly declared to the authorities. It
can lead to workers being denied basic social and labour rights and it can mean
millions in lost revenues to the state. The Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan explains
what the Parliament is proposing to tackle the problem of undeclared work.

The European Parliament has voted to set up
a European platform to tackle undeclared work. Undeclared work

major problem within the EU. Not only do governments miss out on revenue from
taxes and social security contributions but workers are also less protected.

Fracking would damage tourism, agriculture & health – Harkin
