The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says
the political will exists at an EU level to tackle unfair trading practices in
the food supply chain. Ms McGuinness met the EU Commissioner for the Internal
Market this week. She called on Elżbieta Bieńkowska to introduce laws that would
tackle unfair trading practices and enable farmers to get better money for their
produce.
