The Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes will be part
of a new European Parliament inquiry committee set up to investigate the recent
Panama papers revelations. The committee will look into the scandal that involved
the leak of up to 11.5 (eleven point five) million files from the database of
the Panama based law firm Mossack Fonseca. The leak revealed how some of the
world’s wealthiest people had benefitted from secretive offshore tax regimes. The
Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes explains what the committee will do.
