Ireland can show Greeks what’s possible in bailout talks – Hayes

Ireland can be a role model for Greece as
it embarks on yet another set of talks with Eurozone leaders and finance
ministers. That’s according to the Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes who was speaking
in the European Parliament. This morning the European Commission President
Jean-Claude Juncker told MEPs that he does not want to see Greece exit the
Eurozone.  However, Mr Hayes says EU
leaders will not cave in and allow the Greeks to get debt write downs from
their creditors.

The President of the European Commission
Jean-Claude Juncker has told the European Parliament in Strasbourg that a
solution has to be found to the Greek crisis. Mr Juncker told MEPs this morning
that he didn’t want Greece to exit the Eurozone. The Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes
says a Grexit would be disastrous for the Greek people.
